A delegation from the African Union of Broadcasting Content Exchange Centre was received on 4 June 2025 by Côte d’Ivoire’s Ambassador to Algeria, Professor Alphonse Voho Sahi.
The delegation included Centre Director Karima Chelbi, Deputy Director Gisèle Nnemi Nga and Francophone Desk officer Irène Gaouda. Richard N’Goran, responsible for economic affairs at the embassy, also attended.
The meeting aimed to strengthen relations between African diplomatic missions and the AUB Content Exchange Centre, which is increasingly positioning itself as a showcase for African news and content.
During the discussions, Ambassador Voho Sahi stressed the importance of solidarity and cooperation among African countries and institutions. The delegation also discussed preparations for AUB’s General Assembly scheduled in Côte d’Ivoire from 18 to 20 June 2025.
The Ambassador noted that African embassies carry out many initiatives that deserve stronger media visibility and highlighted Côte d’Ivoire’s continued commitment to inter-African cooperation.
